From Schenectady, New York, Ingalls is a blend of country boy and urbanite with interests in a vast spectrum of music genres, counterculture books, poetry, photography, and writing styles. He has two library cards, loves to cook, and is left handed. When Ingalls is home, he loves to spend time with his dog Tiny Tim. He also enjoys studying history and social sciences. Ingalls is a distant relative of Laura Ingalls Wilder (Little House on the Prairie) and Ulysses S. Grant (18th president of the United States), hence the name.

Ingalls produces, writes, and directs his own short films. One of his short films titled “My Heroine” was banned from YouTube due to the depiction of drug use and addiction being too realistic.

Ingalls is an advocate of the following: substance abuse awareness, stopping gang/gun violence, C/PTSD awareness, the LGBTQ+ community, agriculture, house/techno music, and more.
